A workspace is the home for your team, project or business on Ideanote. You can create idea collections on your ideanote.io workspace subdomain for free or add upgrade to connect your custom domain.
We take security very seriously. Your data is protected with HTTPS enforcement and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 with SHA-256 hashing and RSA-2048 signing to keep them private during transit. At rest they are kept safe and encrypted in our SOC2 compliant Google Cloud Kubernetes Datacenter.
On top of the security features of our datacenter we have:
- 128-bit SSL encryption of all data transfer in our platform.
- Daily backups of all your data, in case anything goes wrong.
- Security protocols where we work.
No need! Just start on the free plan, it comes with all features you need for testing. Only a few compliance and security features like Audit Log and Single Sign-On are not available.

With Ideanote you are never locked into a plan that does not fit. You can add or remove users, change plans, and downgrade to the Free plan at any time.
Yes, you can cancel subscriptions at any time. If you do, you'll be downgraded to the Free plan immediately, where you can still collect ideas - just with fewer features.
If there is more than one day until your renewal date, we will prorate the remaining balance on your workspace as a credit. You can use that credit towards a reactivation of your paid subscription in the future.
You’ll be charged a prorated amount for new users for the remainder of the current billing period.
As an example, suppose your team is on the Scale plan, which costs $7 USD per active user per month (when billed monthly). You add a new member 10 days into your billing period with 20 days remaining in the month. The per-day cost for each user is 75 divided by 30, so we’ll make a one-time charge of $4.66 ($7 divided by 30 days times 20 days) to the credit card on file at the end of the billing period.
Multi-year commitments will realize savings of 5% for a 2-year term and 10% for a 3-year term, compared to the yearly subscription rate. Payments are still made annually. The discount is applied to each annual payment.
