Make Innovation Easy

Most people love innovation and co-creating the future but they resist anything that feels like extra work. If submitting an idea feels like filling out a tax form, you’ll lose them. In fact we founded Ideanote because of a shocking experience with a paper-based idea form that was multiple pages long. Everyone involved, including the ideas, deserve better.

Keep looking out for ways to streamline and reduce steps. Pre-fill what you can. And never ask for information you’re not going to use. Every extra field is a reason not to participate.

Try running a challenge with a two-question form  “What’s your idea?” and “What problem does it solve?” as a fullpage form via a link and see how participation changes. You can always follow up on details later. Always ask yourself how you can make innovation easy for everybody involved.
