If you're on the PRO plan or highter you can also style your widget to match your brand and define access settings and custom idea fields.

What you need

  • A free Ideanote account
  • An account from Amazon Alexa
  • An idea collection where you have editing rights

How to embed the widget on Amazon Alexa

  1. Go to the idea collection you want to embed
  2. Click the Share button
  3. Click on the Embed button
  4. Click Get the code
  5. Go to Amazon Alexa
  6. Add the code to a custom HTML embed section
  7. Save or publish your page

If you already have an Ideanote and a Zapier account, you’ll be asked to log in, and then to either choose an idea collection, or create a new one to connect with your Amazon Alexa account.

If you don’t yet have an Ideanote or Zapier account, we’ll get you signed up, and then take you through creating an idea collection to connect with your Amazon Alexa account.

You’ll then be taken through set up over at Zapier.
